Ilkeston branch
Our Ilkeston branch opened on 1st January 2019 and was the first Avanti Homecare branch. Our dedicated Ilkeston care team provides high-quality, reliable care services across the local area, including West Hallam, Kirk Hallam, Shipley, Mapperley, Stanton by Dale, Stanley Common, Risley, Cossall, and Awsworth.
The Ilkeston care team is overseen by Lea Topliss, Registered Manager, who leads the branch and ensures the delivery of safe, effective, and person-centred care. Lea is supported by Noureen Akhtar, Care Quality Manager, who oversees quality assurance and compliance, and Leona Allsop, Senior Care Coordinator, who manages care scheduling and supports both clients and care professionals to ensure outstanding service delivery.

Noureen Akhtar has over five years of experience, including the past two years in management roles. Her compassionate approach, strong attention to detail, and commitment to excellence make her ideally suited to overseeing care quality. Noureen is passionate about ensuring every client receives safe, person-centred care and works closely with the team.
Leona
Senior Care Coordinator
Plays a key role in ensuring our clients receive well-planned, consistent, and person-centred care. She works closely with our Care Coordinator to organise care schedules effectively, making sure each care professional has the time they need to properly support every client. Leona also maintains regular communication with GPs, social workers, district nurses, and other healthcare professionals.
